Next Stop: High School

Making the leap from primary school to high school is a big moment in any student’s journey. Who better to talk about it than people who’ve just done it? Next Stop: High School will bring a group of current Year 7 students back to their junior school to speak honestly and openly with our Year 6 students about the transition to secondary school.

This informal panel session will give our Year 6's a chance to hear real stories, practical tips, and personal reflections from students who were in their shoes just a year ago. The panellists will share what they were nervous about, what turned out to be easier than expected, what they wish they’d known and what helped them most in their first year of high school.

It’s a chance for our students to ask questions, hear reassuring advice, and start to feel more confident and prepared for the next step in their learning journey. We believe that student voice is powerful and this panel is all about connection, honesty, and helping each other along the way.
