Our achievements
VPS students excel in a wide range of activities
At Vaucluse Public School, we are proud of the success of our students. Their many achievements include:
Academic
VPS scores above the State average in Basic Skills Tests and a high percentage of VPS children get into Selective High Schools.
Sporting
VPS soccer, netball and soccer teams punch well above their weight in the PSSA competitions and our athletics and swimming teams regularly astonish much bigger schools at the District Carnivals for these sports.
Debating
VPS teams are keen and formidable contestants in debating and public speaking competitions.
We have a junior and a senior debating team.
Music
The VPS musicians and Rock Band have won acclaim wherever they perform around the community. We also have a Junior and Senior Chioir that practise and perform on a regular basis.
